Marin BioWorks is a full-service search firm providing a range of service options.  A brief summary of each is outlined below.  Please contact us to discuss which option best suits your current needs and to review a detailed service agreement.

Contingent Recruiting Services:

Contingent search is our standard offering and is a good choice for difficult-to-fill, but medium to lower priority positions. It is also an excellent choice for searches in which a range of options are being employed to fill current openings.

Contingent search requires that the client provide Marin BioWorks with a thorough understanding of the job opening – including but not limited to: position requirements, company culture, team culture, salary potential and access to the hiring manager. Based on this profile, Marin BioWorks will indentify and present qualified candidates, arrange interview schedules, and consult with the client on candidates presented.

A fee is paid only if the client hires a candidate presented by Marin BioWorks for the position under consideration, or any other opening within a defined timeframe. Contingent search requires a contractual agreement between Marin BioWorks and our clients.

Retained Recruiting Services

A retained search model is to assist you with your most urgent hiring goals and implies a high priority exclusive arrangement between Marin BioWorks and the client.

In a retained search, the client provides Marin BioWorks with a complete understanding of the job requirements and unfettered access to both the hiring manager and all decision making executives. In return, Marin BioWorks will employ a broader range of tools to fill the opening, commit to a specific weekly time invested, and agree on a minimum number of candidates to be interviewed for the opening.

A retainer fee is required for us to initiate a retained search. Additional fees are due at pre-defined milestone events and the final fee is due once the terms of the contract have been met. Retained search requires a contractual agreement between Marin BioWorks and our clients with clearly-described fees, deliverables, and timeframe. Ultimately, this will lead to the placement of a candidate in your critical position.

Contract Staffing Services

Our Contract Staffing option affords flexibility as your work load changes. We can provide you with short-term, long-term, and temp-to-perm staffing during critical times, as well as specialized talent for your project-based work. 

Marin BioWorks assumes the responsibility for all payroll taxes, insurance, and worker’s compensation.
